Data and privacy

Your resume is personal.

  1. Your text goes through this site's Cloudflare backend to Google Gemini or NVIDIA, depending on how the owner set it up.
  2. DOCX and text PDFs are turned into plain text in your browser first.
  3. Scans and images: NVIDIA Nemotron OCR reads them to text, then the analysis model writes the report.
  4. In Gemini full-file mode, PDFs and images are sent as document data.
  5. A job description you add goes with the resume. It is not stored.
  6. Do not upload passwords, payment details, ID numbers or other sensitive data.
  7. You must have permission to process the resume.

Free mode

  1. Uses a free Google Gemini key.
  2. Google's terms say unpaid input and output may be used to improve its products.
  3. Google's terms say human reviewers may read it, after it is disconnected from the account, key and project.
  4. Google tells free users not to submit sensitive, confidential or personal information.
  5. In the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, the paid-service data terms apply even to free use.
  6. We remove your name, email, phone, address, links, ID numbers and references first, then put them back into your result locally.
  7. Removal is automatic and best-effort.
  8. Employers, schools, job titles, dates and achievements are still sent and can identify you.

Billing mode

  1. Uses a Gemini project with active billing.
  2. Google says paid prompts and responses are not used to improve its products.
  3. Google keeps logs for a limited time for safety, abuse and legal reasons.
  4. Your full file is sent, including name and contact details.
  5. We cannot verify the owner's billing status automatically.

NVIDIA free tier

  1. Pipeline: Nemotron OCR v2, then an NVIDIA analysis model (Nemotron 3 Super by default).
  2. NVIDIA's trial terms say trial use only, not production.
  3. They say not to submit personal data unless the service expressly allows it.
  4. They say NVIDIA may use submitted content and results to improve its products.
  5. We remove name, email, phone, address and links from text first.
  6. Scans and images reach OCR as they are, so nothing is removed first.

Your own key and storage

  1. An own Gemini or NVIDIA key is stored AES-GCM encrypted and never shown again. Remove it any time.
  2. Analyses with it use your own account's quota and terms, with no app limit.
  3. Resume contents and results are not saved on the server. They stay in page memory until cleared.
  4. D1 stores an anonymous browser hash, licence hash and last 4 characters, quota counts, timestamps and token counts.
  5. A salted IP hash supports abuse limits.
  6. Call metadata is kept up to 30 days.
  7. Browser tokens can be bypassed by clearing storage or switching browser.
  8. This is a resume-writing tool, not a recruitment decision system.
