Stored encrypted on our server, never shown back or shared. Remove it any time. We still don't store your resume or results. Your key is only used for your analyses in this browser.

DATA & PRIVACY

Your resume is personal.

Uploads and extracted text are sent through this site's Cloudflare backend to Google Gemini. DOCX and (in free private mode) PDF are converted to plain text in your browser first. In full-file mode PDF and images are sent as inline document data, so Gemini performs visual reading/OCR.

If you add a job description, it is sent to Gemini with the resume for the comparison (in free private mode, emails, phone numbers and links in it are removed first) and is not stored. Do not upload passwords, payment information, government ID numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information. You must have permission to process the resume.

The owner chooses one of two modes. Free private mode reads text only (selectable-text PDF, DOCX or pasted text). Before anything is sent to Google, our server removes your name, email, phone, address, links and any references section, then puts them back into your result locally. This is automatic and best-effort: it can miss unusual formats or names of other people, and employers, schools, dates and job details are still sent. Free-tier Gemini content may be used by Google to improve its products, so do not submit anything you are not comfortable sharing. Full-file mode is used only when the owner confirms a billing-enabled Gemini project. Under Google's paid-service terms, prompts and responses aren't used to improve its products, but limited safety/legal retention may still occur. We can't verify the owner's billing status automatically.

If you add your own Gemini API key, it is stored AES-GCM encrypted, never displayed again, and deleted when you choose Remove. Analyses with it use your Google account's quota and terms.

The app doesn't persist document contents or results on the server. Results remain in page memory until cleared or the page is closed. D1 stores an anonymous browser hash, licence hash/tail, quota counts, timestamps and token counts. A salted IP hash supports abuse limits. Call metadata is retained for up to 30 days; browser/licence records remain until the owner removes them.

This is a resume-writing tool, not a recruitment decision system. JSON/XML exports do not connect to an ATS automatically. Browser tokens can be bypassed by clearing storage or switching browsers.
